John Evans Founder and CEO, Contempo Lending

John Evans is the founder and CEO of Contempo Lending, a successful mortgage lending firm based in Palm Springs, California. Born in Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles from a young age, John's early exposure to urban life sparked his interest in real estate.

In 1997, driven by the dream of homeownership, John relocated to Palm Springs and quickly established roots in the community. His career initially began in insurance as a Territory Manager, providing him with the flexibility to transition seamlessly to full-time residency and remote work in Palm Springs.

In 2002, John's passion for real estate led him to enter the mortgage lending industry, initially as a part-time endeavor which soon evolved into a thriving career. After gaining valuable experience working for other brokers, John founded Contempo Lending in December 2004. Under his leadership, Contempo Lending has flourished, distinguishing itself with a commitment to personalized customer service and ethical lending practices.

Even during the challenging real estate climate of 2007, John's dedication to putting clients first ensured the continued growth and success of Contempo Lending. Outside of work, John enjoys traveling, with Europe being a favorite destination, and cherishes spending time with his two Beagles, Murphy and Magic.
